This new version includes Photometric targets created in the sensor allowing for faster simulations enhancing users productivity.

 

Ergonomics of simulation settings and result analysis are improved thanks to geometry groups and local meshing.

 

SPEOS CAA V5 Based V16.0 OSD users will enjoy new functionality including Interactive Real-Time Photometric analysis during Optical design.

 

Freeform elements such as Curved Prisms on Optical Lenses or Light Guides are an amazing way to control light.

Optical Shape Design

In addition to the beam shape and source images, Optical Surface can now  interactively display an approximated intensity distribution of the selected elements.

 

Therefore, designers immediately have the understanding of photometric behavior of the surface and thus the ability to adjust the shape parameters to interactively optimize the design.

 

Punctual source will be supported in a future version.

15° cut-off even with pure vertical stripes.

Simulation Wizard  option(OPTIM1) offers automatic task capability to increase quality and performances of your design.

 

From measure templates, rules allows to check conformity of standard regulation or Customer specification. You can immediatly check margin for each point.

 

Measurement rules can be set from VP Lab or HV Lab and can be shared with other SPEOS users. This offers standardisation of reports coming from your different entities.

Ergonomic : Face Optical Visualization

Face Optical Properties allow users to create specific optical settings for individual faces.

 

Visualization has been improved to be more visible in 3D View. Instead of dotted surfaces, FOP are now shown with uniform color.

On complex system coming from different departments, FOP can be directly visible before launching simulations.

Geometry group allows users to save time during simulation preparation and analysis.

 

Local meshing and Face Optical Properties can be applied on Geometry groups.

New functionality : Save spectrum for illuminance

New Spectral type introduced for illuminance, intensity and radiance sensor with direct or inverse simulation. Spectrum information are stored only for this type of sensor.

 

Colorimetric type is used to stored only XYZ information. Compared to fine wavelength resolution, XMP files can be 80x lighter. During DIstributed Simulation no time is lost merging results.
